About Me

I am a landscape painter and I live in Redding CA with my wife Suzie Burgess and our two daughters Abigail and Eloise. I studied painting as an undergraduate and am primarily influenced by Wolf Kahn, Richard Diebenkorn, Joan Mitchell and Gerhard Richter.

I was fortunate enough to study under Carl Blair. I don’t have too many thoughts about painting that aren’t in some way his.
